  • What does a Procurement Planner do at Swire Coca-Cola? Responsible for learning and executing inventory forecasting, ordering and movement across assigned production sites for commodity deck. Tracks and monitors inventory levels including additions and deletions to secure direct materials to produce finished goods aligned with selling trends and promotions. With manager's support, analyzes usage, trends, safety stock requirements and forecasts to ensure production sites have required materials for production. Escalates issues with manager related to raw material management as necessary. Addresses supply issues and works with supplier, manager and other stakeholders to prevent production disruptions. Responsibilities:
    • Monitors inventory and warehouse performance measures
    • With manager's assistance, creates inventory plans to ensure raw material orders meet business needs, such as promotional periods and new product introductions
    • Maintains comprehensive demand and inventory management database to support forecasting and analysis activities, which will also serve as basis for Company's purchasing commitments (basic forecasting)
    • Prepares reports to post and track development and improvement of metrics and area activities. Analyzes, maintains and enhances required inventory and metrics reporting for management.
    • Ensure assigned materials are on-hand and available to meet daily/weekly schedule for all in scope production facilities and commodities, including strategic inventory
    • Ensure vendors comply with service level agreements, resolves minor issues, and escalates major issues related to shipments, defective materials, and discrepancies
    • Build strong relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders across all production sites
    • Approve and submit carrier claims, damaged material returns and returned goods authorizations
    • Collaborates with other departments to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and assists with developing solutions that improve ability to manage fulfillment operations.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (new hires) required
    • High School Diploma (or GED)
    • 1+ years years of inventory control experience preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Proficient with an inventory/materials management system, such as an ERP. SAP preferred
    • Knowledge of automated inventory tracking and management
